AFRICA: Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mali, Senegal, Rwanda, Madagascar, Cameroon, Kenya. ASIA: Philippines The Teresian Carmelite Missionaries are present in 24 countries, 18 of which belong to the third world. We have 108 communities. The Palautian lay missionaries continue to be incorporated and are gradually increasing in number. The Palautian family, affiliated to the Teresian Carmel (OCD), works as missionaries in countries of Christian tradition and in others of first evangelization, some of which have a Moslem majority. At present the Congregation is structured into 3 provinces, 2 semi-provinces, 1 general delegation and 1 provincial delegation. The MILPA are in the experimental phase, just beginning to be  organized according to their statutes.
