OUR ESSENCE AND LIFESTYLE

A ripe fruit of palautian spirituality
She was born in Algueña (Alicante, Spain), on 26th September 1895.

She died in Novelda (Alicante), on 26th February 1941.

She entered the noviciate of the Teresian Carmelite Missionaries in Tarragona on 5th April 1915.

She loved the Church and committed herself to serving its weakest members: the children, on whom she poured out goodness and tenderness. Some are still alive, witnesses who remember her and venerate her, considering her still "present" in their lives.

She was a model of equilibrium and unity in the tragic Spanish civil war (1936-1939). Her motto, which characterized her, was "to do good to everyone", without distinction of creed or party, placed her in the footsteps of Jesus who "passed by doing good". We could sum her up as "loving God and neighbour", welcoming, simple and kind. Her virtue has been proclaimed heroic (Rome, 17th December 1997).

She died in Novelda (Alicante), on 26th February 1941.
